Turkmenistan's state-run enterprise Turkmenneft recently received equipment for the country's western oil fields. The Azerbaijani company Azneftekhimmash was among the suppliers, Turkmen media reported on Jan. 8.
Azneftekhimmash provided hoist units and tractor carrier amplifiers to the company. Other state-owned enterprises using Azneftekhimmash equipment include Turkmengeology and Turkmengaz.
Azneftekhimmash has exhibited its equipment at international oil-and-gas shows in Ashgabat.
Turkmenneft also received equipment from Russia and Japan. Local oil workers were provided with backfill and hoist units, trucks, tractors, bulldozers, cranes, graders, scrapers and movable sets to stabilize oil production. Eighty units and 130 UAZ trucks were supplied in total.
