SOCAR's marketing and economic operations department exported 1.6 million tons of oil products from oil refineries in January-September compared to more than 1.7 million tons for the same period of 2008.
About 170,400 tons of oil products were exported by SOCAR's marketing and economic operations department in August.
Oil products are produced on the basis of two Baku's refineries with summary capacity of 20 million tons of oil per year. Both refineries are a part of the Azerbaijani State Oil Company. This company processes about 7 million tons of oil extracted onshore and offshore owing to own funds annually.
