Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on introduction of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic on the additions and amendments to the laws on power engineering, on gas supply and on water supply and wastewater, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
Within introduction of the law, the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan is in charge of preparing and submitting to the Head of State proposals on bringing the above-mentioned laws into conformity with the law on making amendments and amendments to them within two months.
The Cabinet of Ministers is also in charge of identifying the rules to use gas, agreeing them with the President of Azerbaijan, identifying the state standard on gas installations and informing the Head of State, determining the rules of water use, the state standards of water supply systems, reservoirs, valves and connections, and informing the President of Azerbaijan.
The decree also states that some of the powers of the executive authorities under the aforementioned laws were referred to the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan.
