Azerbaijan will export around 47 million tons of oil in 2010 compared to 43.3 million tons this year, according to the 2010 draft public budget.

Azerbaijan will export roughly 49 million tons of oil in 2009, and the figure will hit 46.3 million tons in 2012 and 49.1 million tons in 2013.

The Azerbaijani International Operating Company, which develops a block of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli fields, will export roughly 45 million tons in 2010 compared to 41 million tons this year. The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) is expected to export over 2.1 million tons in 2010 compared to about 2.5 million tons of oil.

A total of 2.2 billion cubic meters of condensate will also be exported in 2010 - the same figure as this year.

Azerbaijani oil is exported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, Baku-Supsa and Baku-Novorossiysk oil pipelines. In 2010, Azerbaijan will export over 7.1 billion cubic meters of gas from the Shah Deniz field compared to 6.8 billion cubic meters in 2009.

Gas from the Shah Deniz field is exported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline. The gas is also transported to Iran via the Gazi-Mahammad-Astara-Bin-Biand pipeline. From 2010, SOCAR will export gas to Russia via the Mozdok-Kazi-Magomed gas pipeline.
