In 2008, the total cost of trade gas of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) was more than 196,4 million manat compared to about 148 million manat in 2007, the company's 2008 report said.
The prime cost of 1,000 cubic meters of gas was 27.89 manat compared to 27.75 manat in 2007.
Of the total production costs, 14.5 percent accounted for materials, 10.8 percent - wages, 25.7 percent - amortization costs, 19.7 percent - field tax, 0.6 percent - land tax, 2.7 percent - social spending.
