Supporting the diversification of international cooperation in the energy sector, Turkmenistan realizes principles of multi-option methods for delivery of energy resources to the world markets, Turkmen President Gurbangulu Berdimuhammadov said in his appeal to the annual international oil and gas exhibition and conference in Ashgabat on Nov. 17-19.
The Turkmen president considers the Turkmenistan-China gas pipeline, which is scheduled to function at the end of the year, and the Dovletabat-Serakhs-Hangren (Iran) as best example for mutually profitable cooperation.
Upgrade of the existing Central-Asia - Center gas pipeline and the construction of the Caspian pipeline (to Russia), possess great social and economic significance for may countries and will intensify the consolidation of economic relations, peace and stability in the Earth, considerable increase of financial welfare of nations, the president said.
"Serious task has been put for scientists for exploration of oil and gas fields, mineral resources and their industrial refinery. Their hypothesis and scientific and research work are yielding positive results. For instance, opening of energy-rich fields, such as South Eloten, Osman and Yashlar are the brightest examples for the said," the president said in the appeal.
Consolidation of crude basis through opening new oil and gas-rich fields in the right bank of the Amudarya River and their industrial assimilation will promote the construction of export gas pipelines, as well as production of oil and gas extracting industry, which enjoys great demand in the domestic and foreign markets.
Berdimuhammadov stressed the international exhibition and conference held by the Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources jointly with different state agencies will provide a favorable audience to discuss with the interested foreign companies the cooperation in exploration of oil and gas fields and mineral resources, and to deepen the mutual cooperation between the Turkmen and foreign entrepreneurs".
"I have no doubt that you - the participants in the conference - have all opportunities for exchange of experience and information here. It will enable you to fund necessary solution to expansion of international cooperation in production of natural resources of Turkmenistan, strengthening of exploration work, increase of oil and gas refinery and further development of the pipeline system," the president stated.
