SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) rented storage tanks for its oil in Korea, a senior official of SOCAR said on Nov. 20. Currently, the company is already using them, said a company representative. SOCAR received them in the sublease. Currently the company has 200,000 tons of oil in these reservoirs.
"We are delivering our oil there with large oil tankers, storage part of oil in South Korea and then through the trading house SOCAR Trading Singapore we implement large-scale retail or wholesale to the Philippines, Indonesia and other countries," said the representative of SOCAR.
