In 2010, SOCAR's (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) Complex Drilling Work Trust plans to drill 78 exploration and production wells at 22 areas, SOCAR said today.
According to the company, within plans it is planned to conduct drilling operations in the amount of 117,259 meters, 107,886 meters of which will fall to production drilling, and the remaining 93.73 meters to exploration drilling.
The Trust has already fulfilled half of the plans for 2010. Drilling operations cover Guba-Caspian, Absheron, Yevlakh-Agcabedi, Kur's lower oil and gas areas, as well as Baku and Absheron archipelagoes.
