BP supplies SOCAR with 1.5 billion cubic meters of associated gas in January-June

BP is the operator developing the block of Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) fields in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea. It supplied SOCAR with 1.7 billion cubic meters of associated gas in January-June, BP's official report said.

During this period the average daily volumes of gas delivered by SOCAR, amounted to 9.5 million cubic meters, the report said.

BP plans to deliver SOCAR 1,9 billion cubic meters of associated gas in 2010 within ACG project, BP's official report said.

SOCAR delivered about four billion cubic meters of gas in 2009 compared to planned 1.45 billion cubic meters.

Participants of the project are BP (operator-34.1367 percent equity), ChevronTexaco (10,2814 percent), SOCAR (10 percent), INPEX (10 percent), Statoil (8,5633 percent), ExxonMobil (8,006 percent), TPAO (6,75 percent), Devon Energy (5,6262 percent), Itochu (3,9205 percent), Delta Hess (2,7213 percent).
