The number of mini-refineries is 27 in Kazakhstan, Kazakh Deputy Oil and Gas Minister Asset Magauov said.
Total number of mini-refineries in the country is around 27. Basically, they process imported oil. Their production is back on the export, Magauov said.
The volume of oil refining on the mini-refinery at hit about 500,000 tons in 2009, he added.
"There is almost a tenfold decrease in the processing of the mini-refineries in the first half of 2010," Magauov said.
