SOCAR's Azerkimya Production Union plans to increase its export capacity to 1 million tons per year over the next few years, Azerkimya head Mukhtar Babayev said at the Fifth Caspian Oil and Gas Trading and Transportation Conference today.
He said export opportunities will increase after the PU's enterprises are reconstructed and a new plant producing carbamide is built.
The PU is preparing to build the plant in the near future, Babayev said.
Its production capacity is expected to reach 500 thousands tons per year.
The conference is organized by Confidence Energy and the State Oil Academy.
