JSC Bakielektrikshebeke plans to commission a new substation "Icheri-Sheher" in the Sabail district of Baku in the near future, Bakielektrikshebeke said on Wednesday.
The substation will be located at "Oil workers" Ave, 66. Its capacity will be 110/35/6 kV.
Construction of the substation is one of the major investment projects of Bakielektrikshebeke. Two transformers with capacity of 40 megawatts / amp will be installed at the substation.
Advanced equipment of German company Siemens will be used during construction.
The new substation will provide strategic public facilities and Sabail district's population with uninterrupted and qualitative power supply.
