Azerbaijan's oil production amounted to 1.003 million barrels per day in the first quarter of 2011, which is more by 52,000 barrels per day compared to the fourth quarter of 2010, the U.S. State Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported.

Kazakhstan's oil production totaled 1.67 million barrels per day in the first quarter of 2011 compared to 1.65 million bpd in the previous quarter and 1.605 million barrels per day in the first quarter of 2010.
Based on the EIA report, Turkmenistan's oil production increased by 1,000 barrels per day in the first quarter of 2011, compared with the previous quarter, and by 6,000 compared to the first quarter of 2010 up to 209,000 barrels per day.
Oil production in Iran amounted to 4.27 million barrels per day in the first quarter of 2011 compared to 4.24 million bpd in the fourth quarter of 2010 and 4.25 million bpd in the first quarter of 2010.
Russia's oil production in the first quarter of 2011 grew by 90,000 barrels per day to 10.22 million barrels per day. The country's oil production amounted to 10.1 million barrels per day in the same period of 2010.
