More than $15 billion worth of non-oil goods and gas condensates were exported from the Pars Special Economic and Energy Zone (PSEEZ), south of Iran, in the first 10 months of the current calendar year, started on March 21, 2011, the IRNA news agency reported.
Exports of non-oil goods amounted to $9 billion, showing 101 percent rise and exports of condensates amounted to $7.8 billion, up 40 percent compared to the same period year on year.
The total value of Iran's non-oil exports, including gas condensates, stood at $31.9 billion in the first nine months of the current (calendar) year, showing 38 percent rise year on year, the Iranian Customs Administration director said.
The Iranian non-oil exports amounted to 56.164 million tons in weight, up 10 percent compared to the same period the year before, Abbas Memarnejad told the IRNA news agency.
China, the UAE, and Iraq were the main destinations for the Iranian goods.
Previously, Trade Promotion Organization chief Hamid Safdel said the value of non-oil exports is expected to hit $43 billion in the current year and $50.5 billion in the year after.
