As of Oct. 19, the daily volume of gas supplied to the population was 5.3 million cubic meters compared with 4.9 million cubic meters as of Sept. 25, Azerigas told Trend on Friday.
The association said some 3.2 million cubic meters of the total volume of gas supplied to the population every day, fall to Baku.
"The volume of gas supplied to the rest of the country is 2.1 million cubic meters per day," the association noted.
The supplied quantities of gas are determined by demand and fully satisfy customer needs, the Azerigas, which deals with transportation and sale of gas issues on the territory of Azerbaijan, stated.
SOCAR includes Azneft production association (company producing oil and gas on land and sea), Azerkimya production association (chemical industry), Azerigas production association (gas distribution).
