In January-October, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced about 5.71 billion cubic meters of gas compared to 5.91 billion during the same period of last year, SOCAR said on Wednesday.
In October, SOCAR produced 594.7 million cubic meters of gas compared about 600.45 million cubic meters during the same period of last year.
According to SOCAR, in January-October, the country produced 22.01 million cubic meters of gas compared to 21.67 billion during 10 months of last year. In October, this figure was 2.31 billion cubic meters compared to 2.26 million cubic meters in October last year.
Last year Azerbaijan produced about 26 billion cubic meters of gas. Of these, 7.08 billion cubic meters of gas accounted for SOCAR.
