Uzbekistan produced 63,300 tons of oil in January 2018 compared to 69,000 tons in January 2017 (a decrease of 8.2 percent), according to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.
Natural gas production increased from 4.75 billion cubic meters in January 2017 to 5.09 billion cubic meters in January 2018 (an increase of 7.1 percent).
In January 2018, Uzbekistan produced 193,900 tons of gas condensate compared to 152,200 tons in January 2017 (an increase of 27.4 percent).
Uzbekistan also increased production of gasoline by 15.4 percent compared to the same period in 2017 - up to 105,000 tons.
According to the Statistics Committee, the output of diesel fuel decreased by 21.9 percent in the reporting period and amounted to 71,500 tons.
Uzbekistan increased its natural gas production by 0.5 percent in 2017 up to 56.417 billion cubic meters, compared to 2016. The country in 2017 reduced oil production by 6.3 percent to 806,000 tons.
Enterprises of Uzbekistan produced about 4.04 million tons of coal last year, which is 4.4 percent higher compared to 2016.
Uzbekistan reduced production of gasoline by 2.5 percent in the reporting period to 1.1 million tons. The volume of diesel fuel production fell by 4.5 percent in the reporting period to 962,900 tons.
Furthermore, over 60.09 billion kilowatt hours of electricity were generated, which is 3 percent more than in 2016.
In 2017, the country's enterprises produced 27.36 million Gcal of heat, which is 4.5 percent less than in 2016.
