BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 22. The value of sales at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) amounted to approximately 21.7 trillion rials (about $71.1 million), from December 17 through December 21, 2022, Trend reports citing the IRENEX.
In total, about 115,000 tons of hydrocarbon products worth approximately 19 trillion rials (about $62.5 million) were sold at the Iran Energy Exchange within the mentioned period. Of this, 4.93 trillion rials (about $16.2 million) worth of products were sold on the domestic floor, while 14 trillion rials (about $46.3 million) worth – on the international floor.
Moreover, 221 million kilowatt-hours of electricity worth 137 billion rials (about $453,000) were sold at the IRENEX within the mentioned period.
At the same time, Standard Parallel Salaf (Islamic contract, similar to futures) documents worth 2.49 trillion rials (about $8.21 million) were also sold at the energy exchange.
The products at Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) are sold under the SANA exchange rate.
The SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange offices, where the price of 1 euro is currently 322,651 rials, and the price of $1 is 303,417 rials.
