ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, December 26. Azerbaijan purchased 26,645 tons of RON-92 gasoline from Turkmenistan from January through October 2023, Trend reports.
According to the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee, the cost of importing this type of gasoline from Turkmenistan in the stipulated period topped $23.36 million, which is 2.1 times less than the cost in the first ten months of 2022.
Azerbaijan acquired more than 42,831 tons of RON-92 gasoline from Turkmenistan for a total of $49.59 million from January through October of last year.
In total, Azerbaijan purchased more than 64,976 tons of RON-92 gasoline from abroad this year, for a total of more than $60.2 million.
Meanwhile, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan increased by 1.8 times from January through October 2023, reaching $710.37 million, a remarkable increase from $377.23 million in the same period the previous year.
