BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 29. The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) AG consortium has announced gas flow nominations for its primary interconnections, Trend report.
On October 28, the Kipoi interconnection in Greece was scheduled to receive 367,001,291 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of gas, with an additional 366,993,291 kWh planned for October 29 and 29,000,000 kWh for October 30. The Komotini interconnection shows exit nominations of 31,670,675 kWh for October 28 and October 29 each and entry nominations of 16,992,000 kWh for October 28 and 19.800,000 kWh for October 29. The Nea Mesimvria interconnection has reported an exit nomination of 30,346,301 kWh for October 28 and October 29 each.
Meanwhile, the Melendugno interconnection has recorded exit nominations of 321,476,315 kWh on October 28, with another 323,276,315 kWh scheduled for October 29.
As a vital component of the Southern Gas Corridor, TAP significantly enhances Europe’s energy security by diversifying supply sources and supporting the transition toward decarbonization. With an annual transport capacity of around 10 billion cubic meters (bcm), TAP has the potential to expand to 20 bcm, offering a dependable natural gas supply that strengthens Europe’s access to sustainable and diversified energy sources.
