In August 2006 Azerbaijan plans to ship 425,000 tons of Ural from the Novorossiysk port. Sources close to the port said that Azerbaijan International Operating company will ship 156,000 tons of oil by two tankers batches, while the SOCAR 269,000 tons of crude by three tanker batches.
In August the AIOC will unload two tankers each with 78,000 tons oil from pier 2 of the Novorossiysk port. The SOCAR will export 131,000 tons of oil from pier 1 and two batches with 60,000 tons and 78,000 tons from pier 2.
The sources said that AIOC will ship 78,000 tons of oil from pier N2 in Novorossiysk on 12-13 August, while the second similar cargo will be shipped on 18-19 July. The SOCAR will export 131,000 tons from pier N2 on 28-29 August, and 60,000 tons of crude from N2 pier on 2-3 July and 78,000 tons on 30-31 August.
The Novorossiyk port stated that the position for shipment of 140,000 tons on 26-27 August from N1 pier is vacant at present. In general in August 4,034 million tons of will be shipped from Novorossiysk in August.
