A group of the experts of Azerenergy JSC headed by its Vice-President Marlen Asgarov holds negotiations concerning the granting of the tranche to Azerbaijan by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Japan, the press-service of the Joint-Stock Company told Trend today. These funds are expected to be spent on the replacement of the transformers of the 220 KWatt substantion Mushvig located in Baku.
During the visit, the signing of the agreement with the company-general contractor of the project chosen as a result of the tender being held by JICA. The company-general contractor will replace the substation's two old transformers with the capacity of 200 MWatt to two new ones with the capacity of 250 РњWatt. That will allow improving the carrying capacity of the substation, as well as raising its operation dependability, and providing the substantion`s operation regularity.
The relay protection system is also expected to be replaced. The substation`s 10 KV junction reconstruction, its equipment, and main lines will be replaced as well.
