Today, on September 22, a meeting between Khalig Mammadov, SOCAR Business-Manager, Ulrike Mitter, a DAAD Representative to Azerbaijan, and German Buchkramer, a professor of the Achaean University of Germany has been held within the program on staff training at the office of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), a source in SOCAR told Trend today.
According to the SOCAR Representative, this program is aimed at the staff training for SOCAR in foreign educational institutions. SOCAR is about to sponsor the sending of five future Bachelors and 25 Masters to abroad this year. In order to implement the program, SOCAR is about to cooperate with foreign non-governmental organizations from US, Great Britain, France, and other European countries, as well as with Germany`s DAAD.
Paying his visit to Baku, professor of the Achaean University Herr Buchkramer pointed out that his representing educational institution of the engineering specialization has gained a good reputation in staff training in the field of energy, measure instruments, nuclear technologies, etc. In addition, at present, the University is carrying out projects of the joint staff training with China, Iran, and Kazakhstan.
