Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend S.Aliyev / In 2006 the capital investments in the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) amounted to AZN 285mln (the forecasts were implemented at 77.4%), against AZN 187.3mln in 2005, mentioned in the SOCAR 2006 report.
Of them, AZN 78mln (92.8% from the forecasts) compared to AZN 67.2mln in 2005 fell on the share of drilling works, AZN 127.7mln (58.9%) compared to AZN 68.2mln in 2005 - construction works, AZN 77.5mln (118.3%) compared to AZN 49.7mln in 2005 - and equipment, AZN 1.7mln (97.8%) compared to AZN 2.2mln in 2005 - geological exploration.
