In general, 132 trillion rials (about $3.15 billion) worth of loans was issued to Iran's small and medium enterprises, as well as unfinished enterprises, which has 60-percent progress in construction during the first 11 months of the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020 through February 18, 2021), Trend reports citing the statistics of Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran.
According to the statistics, these loans were issued to 4,070 enterprises in Iran for economic development and increase production.
“In addition, about 14,500 manufacturing enterprises and unfinished enterprises were registered to receive loans within 11 months,” the statistics said.
Reportedly, there are 84,000 industrial enterprises in Iran. About 93 percent of them are small industrial enterprises.
