BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 18. The volume of remittances by individuals from Qatar to Azerbaijan amounted to $5.1 million in the first half of 2024, Trend reports.
According to calculations based on the data from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, this indicator increased by 31.46 percent compared to the same period last year.
The share of transfers from Qatar in the total volume of transfers is 0.9 percent.
The total volume of remittances by individuals from Qatar to Azerbaijan amounted to $7.84 million by the end of 2023, while the volume of remittances by individuals from foreign countries to Azerbaijan amounted to $1.65 billion.
