BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 16. The value of paid services provided to the population in Azerbaijan increased by 8.3 percent from January through September 2024 compared to the same period in 2023 and amounted to 9.068 billion manat ($5.33 billion).
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan shows that legal entities delivered services worth 6.827 billion manat ($4 billion) during this period, accounting for 75.3 percent of the total.
In 2024, the average cost of paid services per capita was 889.3 manat ($523.1), a 90.3 manat ($53.1) increase from the same period in 2023.

To note, in 2023, the total value of paid services increased by 14 percent compared to 2022, reaching 11.411 billion manat ($6.71 billion). During that year, legal entities pulled out all the stops and delivered a whopping 8.652 billion manat ($5.09 billion) worth of services, accounting for a lion's share of 75.8 percent of the total.
