By late 2013, the number of mobile subscribers in Azerbaijan will reach 7.6 million people, Azerbaijan's draft public budget for 2010 said.
It is projected that number of main telephones will exceed 1.39 million by late 2009. In 2010, it is forecasted to increase this figure to 1.5 million, and the number of main telephone will reach 1.8 million units in 2013.
The draft budget also notes an increase in the level of penetration of fixed communications. It is projected that 17 telephones will account for 100 people by late 2010 and this figure will be 19.8 units in 2013.
