The Azerbaijani IT company, Sinam, will supply navigation tracking systems for the State Oil Company of Turkmenistan, the company told Trend on Thursday.
The project will be implemented jointly with the partner company Matrix.
Project implementation will begin by late May. Sinam plans to supply the automobile tracking system Teltonika.
The device will be installed in five thousand cars which belong to the oil company. In addition, the project envisages the installation of 150 base stations for dispatching systems.
Car trackers are designed to determine the location of mobile objects, whether truck or passenger vehicles.
Through GPS satellites and Teltonika systems, customers will be able to monitor vehicles, track the speed on digital maps, track the vehicle's route through their movement, stopping points, etc.
By installing the new equipment the customer will be able to control expenditures in the vehicle fleet, increase competitiveness, serve the maximal number of customers thanks to the centralized system for monitoring of cars, reduce fuel consumption and improve the discipline of the driving staff.
