Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Babayeva / Ali Abbasov, the Azerbaijani Communication and Information Technology Minister, attended the opening ceremony of communication facilities in Zakatala.
Mushvig Amirov, the head of the press-service of the Ministry, stated that the Electronic Automatic Telephone Exchange already opened in Yolayriji village of Zakatala region of Azerbaijan. The station's capacity is 1,024 numbers.
The new postal department will be established in the centre of the region on 20 July. The delegation of the Ministry will visit several communication facilities in Zakatala. Then the delegation will hold broad meetings dedicated to the results from work carried out in the first quarter of 2007.
Rashad Nabiyev, the head of the Ministry's Finance Department, will deliver a report regarding the first quarter of 2007.
