Russian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan "is concerned with nationalist declamations" made by some politicians and "pressure on citizens having own opinion about the situation in Kyrgyzstan." Such statement was spread by Russian diplomatic mission in Bishkek, news agency "24.kg" reported.
"Russian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan is concerned with intensification of a nationalist declamation in statements made by some political leaders and continuation of direct pressures on citizens having own opinion about the situation in Kyrgyzstan," read Embassy's statement.
"The Kyrgyz Republic had joined to basic human rights and ethnic minorities normative acts of UN, OSCE, and CIS having international commitments to defend legal rights and interests of all Kyrgyzstanis. Attempts to declare privileges for certain ethnic groups don't contribute to normalization of ethnic relations in Kyrgyzstan, inspires migration outflow and have an adverse effect on the image of the Kyrgyz Republic," stressed in the message.
According to the statement made by Russian Embassy "there are extremely improper attempts to put nationalistic words into Russian leaders', the president and prime-minister, mouth which they never speak."
"Attacks on Kyrgyz politologists, in particular on Alexander Knyazev and Nur Omarov, give rise to particular concernment. Unfortunately, such offences don't receive proper and socio-political estimation," read the message.
"Russian Embassy insists on clamping down nationalistic declamations and accomplishing of unbiased investigation of experts assaults who speak out against inciting the ethnic hostility. Russian Embassy is concerned in steady and stable development of Kyrgyzstan happening under support of all ethnic groups living in the country who have equal rights in accordance with the Constitution of the country," the Embassy resumes.
