Kyrgyzstan may not receive $ 106 million from the EurAsEC bailout fund due to Russia's demand to pay $ 14.3 million of debt on a number of agreements, Minister of Finance of KR Melis Mambetzhanov said today at the Committee on Budget and Finance meeting, 24.kg reported.
According to him, the government recently agreed to repay this debt. "The funds provided within the expenditure budget. The Russian side has been notified about it. The EurAsEC advisory council will meet in May, and the Board of Governors of the Crisis Fund will hold their meeting in June. We believe the issues would be resolved, since the basic requirement of Russia - the repayment of debt of $ 14.3 million," Mambetzhanov has stated.
