BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 17. Kyrgyzstan's National Statistical Committee has shared recent information on the volume of coals imports from Kazakhstan, Trend reports referring to the committee's official website.
According to statistical data, Kyrgyzstan imported from Kazakhstan a total of 393,638 tons of coal from January through October 2022
At the same time, the value of Kyrgyzstan's coal imports from Kazakhstan in the reporting period reached $18.9 million.
Overall, Kazakhstan's exports to Kyrgyzstan in the first 10 months of this year increased by 9.6 percent over the same period in 2021 ($548.7 million) - up to $601.7 million.
Meanwhile, in November this year, Electric Stations of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan's Karazhyra JSC signed an agreement on the supply of coal grade D from Kazakhstan in the amount of 400,000 tons.
The supply of coal is made at a price of $53.45 per ton and covers the period from November 2022 through May 2023.
