BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, July 30. Kyrgyzstan exported 5.241 million liters of gasoline from January through May 2024, which is a 55 percent increase compared to the same period in 2023 (3.381 million liters), Trend reports.
Data from Kyrgyzstan’s State Statistical Committee indicates that the total value of the exports reached $2.405 million, which is a 74.7 percent rise over January–May 2023 ($1.376 million).
Kyrgyzstan exported 2.749 million liters of gasoline to Uzbekistan, worth $1.219 million, and 2.492 million liters to Afghanistan, valued at $1.186 million.
Overall, Kyrgyzstan foreign trade turnover reached $6.488 billion in the first five months of 2024, which is an 18.6 percent increase compared to January–May 2023.
Exports totaled $1.046 billion, a 4.8 percent rise from January–May 2023. Imports increased by 21.7 percent year-on-year, reaching $5.442 billion.
