BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 3. Tajikistan has increased aluminum exports to Turkey in the first quarter of 2022, in comparison to the same period of 2021, Trend reports with reference to the Customs Service of Tajikistan.
Aluminum is one of the main export commodities of Tajikistan. Turkey, in addition to aluminum, mainly imports cotton, leather, fruits and vegetables from Tajikistan.
Tajikistan's aluminum exports to Turkey to $31.1 million from January through March 2022 amounted, which is 3.3 percent more compared to the same period of 2021 ($30.1 million).
Meanwhile, the total export of Tajikistan to Turkey in January through March 2022 amounted to $53 million, which is 19 percent less than the same period in 2021 ($65.5 million).
