BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 13. Turkmenistan exceeded the production plan for the extraction of natural and associated gas from January through September 2022, Trend reports with reference to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Shakhym Abdrakhmanov at an expanded meeting of the government held on October 10.
According to him, during the reporting period, the plan for the extraction of natural and associated gas in Turkmenistan was exceeded by 15.3 percent, and the plan for the production of liquefied gas - by 13.9 percent.
Furthermore, the Deputy Chairman noted that the natural gas export plan was exceeded by 25.9 percent.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. Its gas reserves have increased by 126 billion cubic meters as a result of the industrial development of recently discovered gas fields.
