ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, August 5. The leaders of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan have reached an agreement on long-term mutually beneficial cooperation, which includes plans to establish joint ventures in various industries, such as textile, chemical, construction and others, Trend reports.

The intention to develop industrial and industrial cooperation is enshrined in the Joint Statement of the heads of state issued following the results of the first trilateral summit of Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon, and Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.

They also expressed support for actions and efforts aimed at expanding trade and commercial links, as well as developing the entire transportation and communication infrastructure, in order to contribute to the overall well-being of the region.

Furthermore, the Joint Statement of the Heads of State addressed problems such as enhancing collaboration within international organizations, cooperation in the fields of energy, logistics, and transit, further tariff optimization, expanding trade turnover, and judicious use of the world's water resources.
