ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, July 12. The execution of the revenue part of the state budget of Turkmenistan amounted to 102.1 percent from January through June this year, Trend reports.
This was announced by Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan Serdar Jorayev at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on July 12, 2024.
According to the minister, the expenditure part of the state budget of Turkmenistan was also fulfilled by 97.7 percent on the reporting date.
Furthermore, Jorayev emphasized that during the specified time frame, the revenue portion of local budgets was met with flying colors, reaching a whopping 101.4 percent, while the expenditure portion fell slightly short at 98.2 percent.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan has been on a roll, experiencing non-stop economic growth, thanks to their laser-focused efforts in energy, transportation, and infrastructure development.
The nation is pulling out all the stops to bring in international investments, with a major emphasis on shaking things up and making the business climate more favorable.
