ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, October 11. The leader in the number of active bank cards in Turkmenistan as of early October 2024 is state-owned commercial bank Dayhanbank.
The data obtained by Trend from the bank shows that Dayhanbank has issued more than 2.064 million bank cards.
The second place in terms of active cards is occupied by the state commercial bank "Turkmenistan,” with more than 1.129 million issued cards. The third on the list is “Halkbank” with 723,070 cards.
The majority of cards were issued in the Ashgabat region - more than 1.962 million. Mary and Lebap are second and third with 1.057 million cards and 970,993 cards, respectively.
