A single centralized information source about foreign legal entities and individuals engaged in the entrepreneurial activity will be created in Uzbekistan, Trend reports with reference to Norma.uz information and legal portal in Uzbekistan.
A regulation was approved on the creation and maintenance of a single centralized database on foreign legal entities operating in a representative office, branch, or permanent establishment and individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activity.
The responsible body for maintaining the formation of the Centralized Database is the State Tax Committee (STC).
The centralized database is created based on the Unified Information and Resource Base of the tax authorities. The financing is carried out at the expense of the STC project for the modernization of the data processing center and the widespread introduction of modern ICT (Information and communication technologies) in tax administration.
The responsible government agencies will enter and update the relevant data and classifiers in the e-government information base following the Regulations on the procedure for the formation and maintenance of the data register and e-government classifiers, as well as the use of uniform classifiers.
The STC, together with the interested ministries and departments, was instructed to approve a schedule for integrating information systems of state bodies and organizations with the Centralized Database within a month by December 1, 2020, as well as develop and launch it by January 1, 2021.
