BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 14. Uzbekistan exported 8,000 tons of knitwear to 15 countries in the amount of $45.6 million from January through February 2022, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
The volume of exports of knitwear increased by $8.4 million compared to the corresponding period last year.
The biggest amount of knitwear was exported from the country’s Tashkent city, which amounted to $19.1 million, followed by the Tashkent region ($9.1 million). Andijan region is in third place ($6.4 million), Bukhara region comes next ($3 million).
The main countries which imported knitwear from Uzbekistan from January through February 2022 were:
