BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 17. Companies from the UAE, France and China have won tenders for the construction of three solar photovoltaic power plants in Uzbekistan, Trend reports via the Uzbek Ministry of Energy.
The power plants with a total capacity of 500 MW will be constructed in the Bukhara, Namangan and Khorezm regions.
As a result of tenders:
MASDAR (UAE) has won a tender for the construction of a 250 MW plant in the Bukhara region.
GD Power - Powerchina (China) has been selected as the winner for the construction of a 150 MW plant in the Namangan region.
Voltalia (France) has been selected as the winner for the construction of a 100 MW plant in the Khorezm region.
