Iran has test fired nine long- and medium-range missiles, including a Shahab-3 missile with a range of 2,000 kilometres, state television reported on Wednesday.
The missiles were tested at a undisclosed desert location, and the long-range missile has sufficient range to reach Israel, reported dpa.
Two other types of missile with shorter ranges were also fired as part of the Great Prophet III war games, according to State Press TV.
The tests come at a time of increased tension between Iran and Israel over Tehran's disputed nuclear programme.
