The Iranian parliament elected a speaker and presidium members. Former Parliamentary Speaker Ali Larijani was reelected to his post, ILNA reported.
Larijani received 214 of 258 possible votes and became the speaker for the third year.
Based on internal regulations, MPs elect a speaker and presidium members annually.
