The price for Iran Heavy crude oil in OPEC Reference Basket increased by $5.95 per barrel to $122.46 per barrel in March compared to $116.51 per barrel in February, OPEC's April oil market report says.
According to OPEC forecasts, the price for Iran Heavy will amount to $117 per barrel in 2012 compared to $100.12 per barrel in 2011.
OPEC's report says that Iran's oil production decreased by 71,200 barrels per day (bpd) to 3.35 mln bpd in March.
According to the forecasts, the country's oil production will amount to 3.41 mln bpd in the first quarter of 2012 compared to 3.56 mln bpd in the fourth quarter of 2011.
