BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 8. The tenth refinery of Iran's South Pars Gas Company produced more than 8 bcm of gas for export during the six months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through September 21, 2024), the director of the tenth refinery of Iran's South Pars Gas Company, Mohammad Nemati said, Trend reports.
According to him, the tenth refinery also produced more than 7.5 million barrels of gas condensate.
Nemati added that the plant produced 98,000 tons of ethane, 173,000 tons of propane, 133,000 tons of butane, and 46,000 tons of sulfur during the six months.
The official noted that the specialists of South Pars Gas Company completed the repairs at the tenth refinery within 18 days. This led to the refinery continuing its production at the maximum level.
To note, South Pars Gas Company processes the rich gas produced from the South Pars gas field. More than 75 percent of the gas consumed in the country is supplied by this company. The company has 13 processing plants.
