Iran's non-oil exports via customs Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari Province increase

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 21. Iran’s non-oil exports through the customs of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province (western Iran), increased by 33 percent in value and 43 percent in volume during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 20 through September 21, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year (March 21-September 22, 2023), Head of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province Customs Office Mazahir Rabii told media, Trend reports.

According to Rabii, more than 220,000 tons of non-oil products worth $100 million were exported through the customs of the province in 6 months.

Rabii added that mainly agricultural products, household items, urea and fittings were exported from Chahar-Mahal and Bakhtiari provinces in 6 months.

The head also noted that the mentioned goods were mainly exported to 23 countries, including Iraq, Türkiye, Oman, Kenya, Myanmar and other countries.

To note, in the first six months of the current Iranian year, Iran's non-oil exports totaled 67.7 million tons, valued at over $24.1 billion. Compared to the same period last year, the export value saw a growth of 2.62 percent, while the total weight of exported goods decreased by 29 percent.
