Georgia, Tbilisi, 15 July / Trend corr N.Kirtskhalia/ Georgia's Deputy Defence Minister Giorgi Muchaidze is discussing in Riga military cooperation between Georgia and Latvia. According to Georgian Defence Ministry, Muchaidze met with his Latvian counterpart Edgars Rinkevich.
Muchaidze is visiting Latvia within the framework of an agreement on military cooperation between Tbilisi and Riga.
"Muchaidze and Rinkevich discussed prospects of military cooperation, Latvia's assistance to Georgia to pass to NATO standards, training of qualified staff," Defence Ministry reported.
Muchaidze will hold meetings at the Latvia's different parliamentary committees. He will meet with Latvia's Deputy Foreign Minister and Presidential Advisor on Foreign Policy.
