Christian Poulsen has completed his move from Spanish side Sevilla to Juventus, the Serie A club confirmed on its website Monday, the dpa reported.
The 28-year-old midfielder moves on a four-year deal at a cost of of 9.75 million euros (15.5 million dollars).
The Denmark international is likely to get a mixed reception in Italy as a result of the ugly incident involving Francesco Totti at Euro 2004, when the Italy striker was banned for three matches for spitting at him.
Poulsen, who has been capped 56 times by his country, is Juve's second major signing of the summer following the clinching of Brazilian striker Amauri from Palermo for a fee of 15 million euros at the end of May.
Prior to his two-year spell at Sevilla where he won the European Supercup and UEFA Cup, Poulsen played with German club Schalke 04.
