Danish Queen Margrethe's husband, Prince Henrik, was Sunday able to leave hospital after undergoing minor shoulder surgery, the palace said.
The procedure was conducted at Aarhus hospital where Henrik, 74, was admitted Friday. He had been suffering from shoulder pains for some months.
The prince, married to Queen Margrethe, is a keen tennis player but will have to abstain from that activity for some time while his shoulder mends, a palace spokesman said, the dpa reported.
